Dickie Dee’s was established in 1958 in Newark’s “North Ward”. It was opened by Dominick “dick” D’Innocenzio and Enrico Bruno. Dickie Dee’s was and still is built off the neighborhood. It’s been making Newark’s own Italian style hot dogs since it’s origination. Now owned in its 3rd generation of family Dickie Dee’s still prides itself on serving Newark and staying true to its roots which is and always has been “The Neighborhood”
